    Ola! Steve,
    On a similar note,, When accelerating I sometimes get no extra power to the wheels. The engine revs go up, but other that that I get no response from the car. This is an intermittent fault, so it appears that something is beginning to fail. My car is a Ford Mondeo 1.8L (1998)
